Customer Rating: Summary: This book collection is awesome Comment: My nephew loved the first couple books so much instead of toy for Christmas all he wanted was this book collection. Then the collection is so great now my son wants the collection too.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for reluctant readers Comment: My two boys just love this series of Beastquest books. One is an avid reader, and the younger (2nd grade)not so much. I am always searching for books that can capture and hold his attention, and this series definitely does.
Customer Rating: Summary: I bought and paid for this book and never recieved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like cyber theft to me. Comment: I bought and paid for this book and never recieved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like cyber theft to me. Thanks for bumming my child out!
Customer Rating: Summary: Magical, adventurous introduction for the young ones! Comment: One of my students absolutely demanded that I read this book for read-aloud. Since many first grade boys are obsessed with fantasy, I went with it. While this is hardly high-class wonderful fantasy, I could not help but see the appeal of the story. I'm tempted to call this "beginner's fantasy", an easy-to-read (but still surprisingly well-written) story under 80 pages that introduces the concepts of quests and magical creatures and all those good staples. While the characters never quite grabbed me, Blade uses great descriptions and words beyond the ordinary (thus, perfect for a read-aloud). The story is organized well and has a nice idea. Again, not absolutely wonderful (I'm sorry, but I could not help but compare to Deltora) but even I was intrigued. I think this is a perfect series for young readers interested in fantasy.
Customer Rating: Summary: The best book ever! Comment: This book is a great book for kids who like monsters, because it's about a monster who tries to take over the sea and land with a whole lot of floods.
I really like this book and I think you would too.

Floods. Starvation. Fear. This is what awaits the people of Avantia's coast if Tom and Elenna cannot stop Sepron the Sea Serpent. The huge and terrifying beast lurks in eerie waters. All the fish have fled and no boats dare to pass. Tom and Elenna meet a mysterious stranger who may hold the key for tracking down the monster. But as they set off in a rickety rowboat, Tom can't help but wonder if they'll succeed so easily this time. . . .
