Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends - A Firestar Is Born
Guest Stars: Stanley Jones (as Professor Charles Xaviar/Professor X) Anne Lockhart (as Ororo Munroe/Storm) William Marshall (as Cain Marko/Juggernaut) Neil Ross (as Scott Summers/Cyclops) Frank Welker (as Angelica's Dad) Marilyn Schreffler (as Bonnie)

Synopsis

Ice Man and Firestar join the X-Men for a reunion. Spider-Man battles the Juggernaunt in a failed attempt to keep him away from the party. Angelica tells her origin to the X-Men which involved her joining the X-Men. When Firestar was about to get to the part of her in college, the Juggernaut attacks. The X-Men battle it out with the Juggernaunt to protect Charles Xavier. Spider-Man arrives to help Iceman, Firestar, and the X-Men fight the Juggernaut until Spider-Man removes his helmet leaving the Juggernaut defenseless against Professor Xaviar's mind power.

Notes

The X-men featured in this episode are Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine, Professor X, and Angel.
ABC Family version removes Spider-Man's second appearance in this episode, when he escapes the massive rock pile the Juggernaut buried him under and lands in a subway tunnel.
Magneto and a Sentinal are seen in a flashback when Firestar was with the X-Men.
The reason why Wolverine was disposed of quickly by The Juggernaut is because his trademark adamantium claws weren't suitable for younger Saturday Morning cartoons in the 1980's, might not be good for younger veiwers. That's a disappointment to comic fans at the time. He didn't appear in the episode "The X-Men Adventure

The New Fantastic Four - Blastarr, The Living Bomb Burst
Synopsis

Reed's new experiment yields in the discovery of another dimension known as the Negative Zone. He wants to see if the Zone contains new power sources to help the Earth's energy crisis. Sue then shows the team Lockjaw, the Inhumans' giant teleporting dog, who she borrowed from Medusa. With Lockjaw's help, Ben and Sue are able to teleport themselves to the Negative Zone to retrieve mineral samples. While in the Zone, they come under attack by winged creatures, but manage to defeat them. They soon discover a very large cocoon and realize that the creatures were trying to keep them away from it. Sue hears a heartbeat coming from the cocoon and Reed tells here to bring it back with them. Feeling tired and overworked, the Four decide to go out for dinner leaving Lockjaw to guard the cocoon. Feeling rejected, Lockjaw looks to the cocoon for company. Soon the cocoon bursts open, revealing the evil Blastaar, capable of firing enormous power bolts from his hands. Having overheard the Four talk of Lockjaw's teleporting abilities, he uses the dog to take him all over New York, destroying anything in his way. The team attempt to stop him, but with Lockjaw's help, Blastaar always gets away. The Fantastic Four are left with having to track Blastaar down and imprison him again.

Notes

Based on "Blastaar, The Living Bomb-Burst!" from Fantastic Four #63 (July 1967), written by Stan Lee, art by Jack Kirby.
The first scene in this episode, showing the Fantastic Four exercising, with Ben on weights and Herbie telling him to exercise his mind by reading a book, was partially reused from the first scene after the title card in "The Frightful Four".
Sue claims to have borrowed Lockjaw from Medusa, but in the two episodes featuring her, she was the Fantastic Four's enemy. Also, although Lockjaw is an Inhuman dog, he wasn't seen in "Medusa

The Incredible Hulk (1982) - Tomb Of The Unknown Hulk

Episode Number 1
First Aired September 18, 1982
Production Code 01
Writer Michael Reaves

Guest Stars: Michael Bell (as Doctor Octopus)

Synopsis

An intense solar flare from the Sun creates a wave of radiation over the Earth. At the same time, Gamma Base is in charge of the highly powerful substance Perium-99. With the base's radio communication equipment rendered useless by the radiation, Dr. Octopus decides to use this opportunity to steal the Perium-99. As Rick checks up on Bruce at the base, Banner begins spontaneously changing into the Hulk due to the radiation wave. Rick subdues the Hulk and restores Banner to normal, but they soon both leave the base in case Bruce begins to change again. As Doc Ock's men infiltrate the base, Major Talbot discovers their presence and alerts General Ross. After trying to locate Banner for their investigation, Talbot follows Banner, but the radiation flares up again and Banner transforms into the Hulk, who trashes the army's trucks as well as the base's radar. With no warning, Doc Ock's men take full control over Gamma Base, and Ock himself quickly steals the Perium-99. Meanwhile, Rick leads the Hulk to Banner's desert fallout shelter, where he is trapped. After the Hulk calms down and turns back into Banner, Rick visits Rio's for supplies and he tells him that all contact with the base has been lost, and so they both go to investigate. They free Betty, the General and Talbot, but Ock escapes with the Perium, intending to turn everyone into mutations. Watching from the shelter, Banner turns into the Hulk and after breaking out, heads for Gamma Base for the final showdown.

Notes

Debut of Hulk-out sequence 1 - Banner on all fours gradually turning into the Hulk. This sequence was seen 7 times in the series, and later shown in "Origin Of The Hulk" (twice), "The Creature And The Cavegirl", "It Lives! It Grows! It Destroys!", "The Incredible Shrinking Hulk" and "The Boy Who Saw Tomorrow".
This particular animated incarnation of Dr. Octopus first appeared in the solo Spider-Man series of 1981 ("Bubble, Bubble Oil And Trouble") voiced by Stan Jones. After this appearance in the Hulk, he next appeared in the third season of Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends ("Spidey Meets The Girl From Tomorrow"), again voiced by an (uncredited) Michael Bell.
Some of the Hulk's stock roars from this series were used for the Juggernaut in "A Fire-Star Is Born" from Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends (1982) and for Unicron in Transformers: The Movie.
Most of the music composed by Johnny Douglas for this series was reused in the later Marvel Productions series, Dungeons And Dragons
