Summary: Great show, ok video
Comment: Great show, but as others have mentioned, the video quality is really not very good. It looks like it was filmed in low-definition (not just regular, but low). Also, if you're looking for lots of special features and things like that, you'll be disappointed. But the show is great and the sound quality is great. Well worth it for the low price this sells for. The stellar Twist and Sand are worth the price alone (note: Sand doesn't seem to appear on any of Phish's current Live-series CDs or on any other videos, so this is a nice rarity).

Summary: The music makes up for it
Comment: As the other reviews have mentioned, the visuals here are by no means stellar. Of all of the hours that I have spent listening to phish, however, the music here is some of the finest playing I have heard from them. Though not perfect, there are so many moments in this show that are magical and rocking. I was so impressed by the music that the poor visuals quickly become a non issue.

Summary: A Fun Evening
Comment: Don't succumb to the hype one way or the other, unless it's in the direction of the other. This show rocks. There are moments of pure glory as well as moments of utter ridiculousness. It all gels together in a momentous fashion; I would say the most thorough enjoyment would come watching it all in one go. And, as far as the "picture" quality; give it a break. It's concert footage. I actually prefer the glossed over, erratic, fuzzy and uncertain views that are established...it coincides and oscillates with the tempo and fury of the notes within. All good things to those who partake.

Summary: Is that a picture of Otis Redding?
Comment: Yes.Yes. Taken right before he died. Indeed, this DVD includes "I didn't know" with vaccum and all as well as a nice setlist of songs rarely played and classic like Weekapaug and Mike's Song! Also, A Day in the Life, though not as good as the 10/31/95 version. Still, a good show and pretty good quality, no fantastic but good enough to enjoy.

Summary: fantanstic
Comment: This DVD is amazing. Mike's Song is absolutely beautiful. Many people are complaining about the video quality which I will admit is not up to par, but its still very watchable and I didn't have a problem with it. The highlights of this show are definately the sound quality and the lights. Watching this DVD in the dark and taking advantage of the glorious lighting is something that the IT DVD can't provide. Another thing that was great is the way that shots of the crowd were incorporated into the jams. As for the complaints that the band is "bored", the band is no where near as energetic as I've seen them before but they are by no means not interested in playing. All in all, this DVD is worth every penny. My friends and I sat through the entire show laughing the whole time, what with Trey forgettng the words and solo to Esther, the vaccum solo, Page screaming "I saw it again", shots of Phans in the crowd, and just the band in general. Go out and get this DVD.
