Thank you amazon !
Customer Rating: Summary: Best cartoon of the 80's Comment: Thunder...thunder...thunder... THUNDERCATS, HO!!!!!!!!!!!! This was the best cartoon of the 80's. Better than G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, Inspector Gadget, Dungeons & Dragons and the Smurfs combined. I just hope they DON'T do a big screen, live-action remake to ruin the legacy. But you can always be certain of one thing: wherever evil exists, Mumm-ra lives!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the best cartoons ever Comment: First off, I purchased this set in February of 2008; after watching every episode, I didn't see any errors that were previously reported. True, these DVD's didn't get the master treatment that DVD's like "He-Man" got, but the transfer isn't horrible.
I'm not sure if this is considered anime, but it certainly looks alot more like anime than "He-Man" (which resembles an American comic book). Like "He-man", Thundercats is your classic story of good VS evil.
As a child this cartoon seemed very strange in a scary sort of way, probably as a result of the evil Mumra and the strange mutants. The music is also pretty sinister, but very effective. As an adult, I can appreciate this series in a whole new light. Good writing, interesting characters, great animation, fantastic music, etc.
If you see this on sale (like I did), don't be afraid to buy it so you can relive the magic and share it with your children. Very fun and positive messages for children.
Customer Rating: Summary: Thundercats are great. Comment: Its great to view my favorite cartoons from years ago. The sound quality could be better, but this is good too.
Customer Rating: Summary: Thundercats return Comment: I was happy to see another one of my child hood favorites on DVD like He-Man and Transformer!!! Awesome stories and music!!

In a distant galaxy, the world of Thundera is in crisis. The planet's structure has become unstable and is near collapse. With their destruction imminent, Thundera's denizens--known as the Thundercats--escape in a spaceship and plot a course for a new home. While in transit, the Thundercats are attacked by evil mutants and their craft is irreparably damaged. Jaga, the eldest Thundercat, sacrifices himself in order to pilot the ship safely to its destination: Third Earth.
