Customer Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Comment: This movie could not make me stop laughing. The Lonely Island group did a great job with this feature length film. Unlike Napoleon Dynamite, this movie had a straight forward plot, and a lot betteroverall quality. Every character in this movie is extremely unique. I have never seen anything quite like this movie.

Customer Rating: Summary: Better Than It Looks Comment: My boyfriend talked me into watching this movie after his friend talked him into watching it. The thing about "Hot Rod" is that the commercials that came out before the movie made it look horrible. This movie is, in fact, hilarious. It's a pleasant blend of Anchorman-esque humor and Super Bad style punchy jokes. When I was through watching it the first time I couldn't believe how good it actually was. I was shocked that it was not all lame slapstick! I think this movie is under appreciated because it was very poorly advertised, but I highly recommend it.
Customer Rating: Summary: I laughed until my sides hurt! Comment: If you like slap stick comedy, you will love this movie. I laughed and I laughed. It's one of a few that I could repeat view over and over!
Customer Rating: Summary: "Souls Of The Animal Kingdom!" Comment: The small budget '07 film `Hot Rod' is a zany, unpretentious, Indie looking production that you will either find absolutely hilarious or leave you wondering "what in the world was that all about?" My initial reaction put me in the "what was that all about" camp however as I began to reflect back on some of the parodies and dialogue I found myself chuckling over what I had missed during my viewing of this film.
Andy Samberg and Bill Hader are hilarious, Isla Fisher is adorable and the rest of the cast is rock solid. Lots of inane comedy value to be had by one and all, just please don't attempt any of the stunts you will view on your own. Leave them to the real stuntmen out there.

Amateur stuntman Rod Kimble (ANDY SAMBERG) has a problem – his step-father Frank (IAN MCSHANE) is a jerk. Frank picks on Rod, tosses him around like a rag doll in their weekly sparring sessions, and definitely doesn't respect him, much less his stunts. But when Frank falls ill, it's up to Rod to stage the jump of his life in order to save his step-father. The plan: Jump 15 buses, raise the money for Frank's heart operation, and then... kick his ass.
