Editorial Reviews: It's 41 A.D., and rugged gladiator Glaucus is captured during a battle in Britain. He is forced to combat games to please Caligula, the evil and mad Roman emperor. However, the beautiful Messalina, wife of Claudius, has ambitions of power of her own. She attempts to enlist Glaucus, played by handsome Richard Harrison.
